A seasoned marketing professional, Tom has held management positions in large commercial firms and charities across the UK and Australia. Every day, Tom uses his strategic expertise to ensure that the unique operating model and good work of Enhanced Lifestyles’ is shared with the community.
Back in the UK, Tom was the Head of Client Services at Nottingham-based design firm Equator. He had joined the Equator team when it was still a start-up, and he established himself as a driving force behind the company’s significant growth. Focusing heavily on customer experience, Tom built and maintained relationships with a rapidly expanding client base, primarily comprised of multinational corporations. His talent for business development helped Equator become the sixth-largest design studio in the UK, growing from just two employees to over 100 staff based in offices across three additional continents and servicing clients worldwide.
After relocating internationally to Adelaide, Tom spent five years managing a host of prolific brands, including San Remo and Balfours, for a leading Australian-owned food company. There, Tom was responsible for marketing strategy, communications, and advertising management, as well as heading up market analysis to support innovative product development projects.
In 2017, Tom joined Community Business Bureau as a Marketing Consultant, lending his expertise to not-for-profits all over Australia. At the time, the NDIS was new and many disability service providers were able to successfully transition onto the NDIS funding model with Tom’s help.
After a spell at a technology company focusing on launching new innovative products into the sector, Tom was enticed back to Community Business Bureau as their Marketing Manager, leading a team in the execution of a marketing strategy that focused on social impact.
