Sarah joined the Enhanced Lifestyles team in 2022. She became a Psychosocial Recovery Coach because her biggest passion is supporting people to overcome mental health challenges.
Sarah one day hopes to become a psychologist. She is in her final year of a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of South Australia and is planning to undertake an Honours year in 2023.
Through her own lived experience with anxiety, Sarah understands just how important and changeable mental health is – and how it can impact daily life. As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Sarah’s lived and learned experience helps her to form meaningful connections with customers and develop tailored recovery plans with actionable steps and strategies.
Reflecting her passion for helping others, Sarah also volunteers for two mental health organisations. Her volunteer work is varied and includes writing blogs, creating videos, facilitating workshops at schools and community groups, and distributing resources on mental wellbeing to at-risk populations. She is also an accredited Mental Health First Aider. Through her work, she hopes to contribute to the reduction of the stigma surrounding mental health.
When Sarah isn’t working, studying, or volunteering, she unwinds by cooking, playing video games, and spending time adventuring in the great outdoors with her fiancé.
