Andrew is an experienced CEO, Board Chair, and Director, with a distinguished career across the not-for-profit and private sectors.
As an experienced Chief Executive Officer, Andrew has led organisations through significant change and growth. He was previously the CEO of Multiple Sclerosis SA/NT and Hockey SA. He has also worked as a Business Consultant, providing advice to not-for-profit leaders from all over Australia. In this role, he supported many disability organisations to setup or expand their NDIS services.
Andrew is passionate about supporting not-for-profit organisations to grow their capacity and impact for the people they are serving. As such, he currently applies his expertise in strategy, risk management and governance as Chair of CBM Australia, a disability-focused international development organisation.
Before he established himself in the human services sector, Andrew had a thriving career in engineering that spanned around 15 years. His various roles included global leadership of sales, marketing, business strategy, and regional leadership of quality management across the Asia Pacific. In recognition of his expertise and his contributions to Engineers Australia magazine, he was made a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia (FIEAust).
Andrew’s experience in engineering is directly transferable to his role as CEO of Enhanced Lifestyles; it provided him with commercial skills that are needed with the NDIS, and a broader capability with compliance, quality and safeguarding – all of which are incredibly important working under the NDIS.
Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Project Management, and is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is passionate about empowering women in leadership and was a member of the 2017 Office for Recreation & Sport Male Champions of Change program. He also featured in the 2016 ‘It Makes Sense’ gender diversity video.
