Andrew is an accomplished and driven Senior Human Resources and Organisational Development Manager. He has created and implemented award-winning people management and workforce development programs across a diverse range of industries. Since joining Enhanced Lifestyles, Andrew has applied his invaluable expertise to ensure that our team enjoy a positive culture and plenty of opportunities for development.
With over 25 years of experience in human resources, Andrew is a specialist in all facets in the field of people management, including industrial relations, talent management, payroll, workforce development, leadership, and management coaching. Andrew is passionate about recognising and developing organisations’ key assets – their people; he knows that this is so important in the disability sector, as having happy and motivated staff can make a huge difference for customers.
Andrew’s achievements have been recognised by many industry awards. He won ‘Australian HR Associate of the Year’ in the 2016 HM Awards, and was honoured with the “Manager of the Year” silver award from the Accommodation Association of Australia in 2012. He won the “Employee of the Year” award from Restaurant & Catering Australia for his continued commitment and excellence in people management and development, and also the “Highly Commended – Industry Collaboration and Partnership Award” from Service Skills Australia’s National Awards for Excellence.
In recognition of his expertise and eye for excellence in the hospitality sector, Andrew has been a National Tourism Judge for the Australian Tourism Awards since 2009.
